| Directions: From the
end of the A3M or M27, take the A27 east to Chichester by-pass. Then
take the A286 signposted The Witterings. At Birdham, take the 1st exit
off roundabout on to the B2198 into Bell Lane. After approximately 75
yards turn left into Pinks Lane. The site is on the left after 100
yards.

£1.50 Locality: The village of Birdham is situated between Chichester (approx 3 miles away) and The Witterings (less than 2 miles away). Chichester market takes place on Saturdays. As well as The Witterings there are several beaches close by including Selsey, Bognor Regis and Bosham (the home of King Canute). The rally field is a lovely flat site with several water points dotted around the edges. What's On? We are planning to recreate the 'feel good' atmosphere of the TV series and enjoy a traditional seaside holiday of that era. The rally will NOT be filled with strenuous activities (the Rally Officers are on holiday too) but a programme of gentle events and activities is already underway which you may take part in or alternatively do your own thing. So far, we have planned an afternoon tea party, a fish and chip supper and a communal barbecue. There will be themed competitions and games on the field for you to amuse yourselves if you wish. We will take the party tents so we can meet up in the evening. The idea is to relax with your friends and return to a much slower pace of life. Perfick!
