from Henley towards Marlow. Site entrance via cul-de-sac on right hand
side approximately ½ mile from the turning to Hambleden at Mill End.
Look for rally signs.

£1.50 Locality: This lovely venue is in a quiet and peaceful setting right on the banks of the river Thames between Henley and Marlow. Good walking area. Fishing in the backwater (closed season for the river). Day permits available from rally officers. (Environment Agency rod licence must be held). The village of Medmenham is attractive and St. Peters church was heavily restored in 1839. The Dog and Badger pub dates from the late 16th Century. Hambleden Lock and the beautiful Hambleden Mill are nearby. Unusually the many bridges over the lock and weir are open to the public, and you can really appreciate the power of the water by crossing these bridges.
What's On? Join us at this peaceful riverside venue to celebrate the two male Rally Officers achieving milestone birthdays this year (total of 90 years between them). Hopefully we'll be able to stroll by the river and over the weir by Hambleden Lock to the Flower Pot at Aston for some lunchtime refreshments. Social on the field on Saturday evening. Rally Officers: Dave and Jane Tuthill Ian Grover Rally will start 2:00pm Friday and will finish 6:00pm Sunday. Bookings must be received by Monday 21st June. |
