Directions: From M4 Junction 13 follow signs for A34 north to Oxford then take A44 to Evesham. By the VW garage take 1st exit onto A46. At next roundabout go straight over then at next roundabout take 2nd exit onto A4184, signposted Evesham & Pershore. At traffic lights go over river bridge into Abbey Road and immediately past Vauxhall Inn turn left. Follow BCC signs down Boat Lane (CAUTION narrow lane). Site on right hand side. Go too far and you get wet!

GRASS FIELD

Locality: The rally is at Hampton Ferry, the home of the award winning Raphael's Restaurant, and we rally in its grounds on the banks of the River Avon. Evesham is a picturesque town with great shopping, set alongside the beautiful Abbey Park and the river. Evesham Country Park is a five minute drive from the town centre; you can enjoy a great day out in a relaxed countryside setting where you'll discover an extensive garden centre, farm shop, courtyard shops, restaurants, miniature railway and animal sanctuary.

The Vale of Evesham and its surrounding area is some of the most productive horticultural land in the country, and is well known for its apples, pears and plums. For the few short weeks between mid March and mid May, the road sides are ablaze with colour - the soft pink tones of cherry and apple blossom contrast with the white of the pear and plum. Plus many pretty little villages around the area including Pershore & Broadway.

What's On? This weekend is expected to be very much one where you can relax. Your rally officers will arrange something in the evenings if the weather permits and maybe the odd game of rounders or such. At the time of writing this, nothing specific has been planned.
